Hello dear friends, of recent, I have taken it upon myself to study the Holy books of the Christians and the Muslimes, i.e. the Holy Bible and the Holy Quran and I found out that these two great books have a lot in common. They share similar truths and a lot of stories in the Holy Bible could be found in the Holy Quran and I believe that these truths can be reconciled if there is but a little understanding so as to make the world a better place.
So at a point in my studies of the Holy Quran, I sought out to understand its views as regards to the birth of Jesus, this is because of the controversy in Islam about whether Jesus is the Son of God according to the Christians.
I found out that there is a chapter dedicated to Mary the mother of Jesus, there is the story of how the ArchAngel Gabriel visited Mary and told her she would have a son who will become a sign to all mankind and Mary asked how could she even have a son since she was had was not married to any man but was a virgin, but the ArchAngel said God will command the Spirit of God in her and she would have a son.
Now the question is this? every man or woman is called the son or daughter of so and so man, but if Jesus father according to the Quran was not a mortal man, but was the Spirit of God, then that means that Jesus father was the Spirit of God which makes Jesus the Son of God.
Anyways, I just thought I should present this simple logic to the open to dispel any controversies there about Jesus Christ.
However, I do think the Holy Quran is a really great book to study but just like the Holy Bible, I think there are a lot of distortions and misinterpretations brought about by the clerics in both religions which
